Abstract:

This coverage contains Public Land Survey System information for the Kaibab National Forest, in northern Arizona. The data is arranged into 2 region subclasses (themes): TOWNSHIPS and SECTIONS. The land net portrayed is based upon the BLM Geographic Coordinate Data Base (GCDB).

Purpose:

The purpose of this data is to provide display, identify, and analysis tools for determining land status information and a means for updating land survey and ownership records for Forest Service Lands Specialists, Management Planners, GIS Specialists, and others.

Supplemental_Information:

This forest wide coverage was compiled from individual township coverages using GCDB information as a base. Township coverages were edgematched to produce one seamless forest wide coverage.
