Land and Mineral Records (LR2000) website - This site offers access to land and mineral data from the following systems in LR2000: Case Recordation, Legal Land Descriptions (alphanumeric), Status, and Mining Claims Recordation. Case Recordation contains information on leases, permits, contracts, grants, agreements, mineral patents, etc. issued by the BLM from 1982 to present for minerals, rights-of-ways, exchanges, land withdrawals,etc. Legal Land Descriptions contains information on land survey data. Mining Claim Recordation contains information on unpatented mining claims located on federal lands since 1976.

California Geographic Services - BLM state web site for cadastral and geographic information.
Federal Land Patent Records Web Site - This site offers researchers a source of information on the initial transfer of land titles from the Federal government to individuals. In addition to verifying title transfer, this information will allow the researcher to associate an individual (Patentee, Assignee, Warrantee, Widow, or Heir) with a specific location (Legal Land Description) in time (Signature date). We also provide image access to more than two million Federal land title records for Eastern Public Land States, issued between 1820 and 1908.
Geographic Coordinate Data Base (GCDB) - The Bureau of Land Management's (BLM) Geographic Coordinate Data Base (GCDB) Web site gives information on the collection of geographic information representing the Public Land Survey System (PLSS) of the United States.

National Cadastral Survey
National Integrated Land System (NILS) - The National Integrated Land System (NILS) is a joint project between the Bureau of Land Management (BLM)and the USDA Forest Service (USFS) in partnership with the states, counties, and private industry to provide business solutions for the management of cadastral records and land parcel information in a Geographic Information System (GIS) environment. This site provides the latest information on the NILS project.

Department of Energy (DOE) - DOE provides information relating to energy efficiency and renewable energy.
Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) - The Federal Geographic Data Committee coordinates the development of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI). The NSDI encompasses policies, standards, and procedures for organizations to cooperatively produce and share geographic data. The 17 federal agencies that make up the FGDC are developing the NSDI in cooperation with organizations from state, local and tribal governments, the academic community, and the private sector.

National Atlas of the United States - The updated National Atlas is designed to provide a reliable summary of national-scale geographical information. Though it cannot provide detailed map information, the Atlas directs users to other sources for this information. It delivers easy to use, map-like views of America's natural and sociocultural landscapes.
National Geodetic Survey - The National Geodetic Survey (NGS) develops and maintains a national system of positioning data needed for transportation, navigation, and communication systems; land record systems; mapping and charting efforts; and defense operations.
National Geospatial Data Clearinghouse - The Geospatial Data Clearinghouse is a collection of over 250 spatial data servers, that have digital geographic data primarily for use in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), image processing systems, and other modeling software. These data collections can be searched through a single interface based on their descriptions, or "metadata."
The National Map - The National Map is on on-line, interactive map service providing public access to high-quality, geospatial data and information from multiple partners to help support decision making by resource managers and the public. The National Map has replaced the topographic maps.
